Fall Television Preview: Resurrection

Resurrection

This Sunday, America is poised to return to the “quaint” town of Arcadia, Missouri when Resurrection‘s second season begins at 8 PM on ABC.  It all began with the return of the little boy Jacob, whose mysterious return to Arcadia had piqued the interest of Fred and Maggie Langston (Matt Craven and Devon Kelly).  The sense of mystery will become even more personal in the new season, starting with the return of Jacob’s grandmother, played by Michelle Fairly, dead for 30 years, who will appear to be younger than her own parents. Tune in to see if the appearance of his own mother changes Fred’s desire to eliminate all of those who have “returned.”

Last season ended with an intriguing cliffhanger of sorts, as Bellamy and Jacob were surrounded by the military as they were trying to leave Arcadia. Bellamy will have to piece together exactly what happened, and determine if he might also be one of The Returned.

The duo faces changes and a more expansive look into their past as the show attempts to keep fans moving along in the second season.

Resurrection kicks off on CBS Friday nights at 8 pm eastern time.
