So this past weekend was one of the longest I have ever had! It was a blast though! Phoenix Cactus Comicon passed over this past weekend leaving people only wanting more. I have heard nothing but good news and comments about PCC over the past few days. I personally found that it was even better than before. So many new people that attended. I was surprised to see the increase in young children attending with fellow comic loving parents! Over all PCC was indeed a total success and I can not wait until next year.
As for the Arizona Avengers? Well I would say we were a complete hit! On saturday I was following around our Iron Man (Aaron Forrester) as Pepper Potts. We got stuck in a corner for a good 3 hours just taking photos. Iron Man was most definitely a hit with the fellow comic book fans. On Sunday we got the chance to take a photo with our beloved Stan Lee! I almost had a heart attack standing next to that man. Now the girls noticed something funny…while the guys photo had a very cute Stan Lee smile…the girls on the other hand had an OH BOY AM I LUCKY?! Smile 😀 Here are the photos!!
So all in all the girls won the Stan Lee’s choice award! After that we all stood in the same corner for about 2 hours taking photos with all of the little children! We had one young boy who looked as though we made his entire life when Iron Man gave him a high five! We miss you little guy! The AZ Avengers hope to make another appearance at Tucson’s Comicon in the fall. Hope to see you all there!
Now I know a lot of you know me for my costumes. So why not give you my Phoenix Comicon Line up?! Well Friday I was the lovely Poison Ivy! A total hit if I may say so. I was not able to leave the front lobby for a good hour or so.
On saturday I was the beloved Pepper Potts following around my Iron Man to later change into my Ironette.
Now later Saturday night I was approached by a independent Photographer by the name of Fox. I didn’t catch his last name but I do know he is Almost Focused on Flickr.com You should go check him out and support him! He was very sweet and he caught some awesome shots of my Ironette.
As for sunday I was Hellcat posing for hours with the Avengers. Well that’s all for me today I hope to see you all at the next convention!
