X-Men Legacy Trailer

Kelly Cassidy 11/21/2012 Reviews

The fine folks at Marvel are incredibly pumped about their old/new title, X-Men Legacy. This is one of the X-Men titles that is not falling under the umbrella of writer Brian Bendis. No, this book is somewhat different from its X-siblings and maybe that’s why I didn’t give it a more stellar review. However, on subsequent readings, I will admit it’s growing on me more. I had expectations of it as a typical X-book, and it is not that at all! There is a lot more going on to this book than your typical mutant angst and as I flip through it a few more times I want to see where Spurrier et al are taking this title.

Like I said, Marvel is definitely excited about this title, and they want you to feel as pumped as they are! And what better way to showcase that excitement than to show you. (NOTE: You will need QuickTime installed to view the video. The video is quite large so give it some time to stream to your computer!)

So, what do you guys think? It is definitely not what I was expecting from an X-Men book, but after a few reads I’m taking much more of a liking. Does the idea of Legion as a main character intrigue you? Do you like that this may not fall into direct mainstream continuity with the rest of the X-books? Chime in below!
