Wizard World Philly 2012: Cosplay Extravaganza

Jordamus Prime 06/06/2012 Reviews

Comic conventions are one of my all time favorite things. They are a great place to go out to and have some fun with a veritable cornucopia of different people that all share similar interests and that can generally get along. Comic conventions are generally deemed ‘awesome’ for a great number of reasons, including but not limited to cheap comics and collectibles, celebrity guest stars, convention exclusive panels talking about interesting topics, and my personal favorite- cosplay. Cosplay is the art of dressing up in costumes as a character form popular culture, such as comic books, films, cartoons, video games or manga. Wizard World Philadelphia this past weekend had no shortage of cosplay on hand, and I’ve got to say that this years costumes were truly breathtaking!

Every year I go to this convention, and it seems that every year the costumes just keep getting better and better! Below you will find a rather extensive gallery that has been put together by members of Team Comic Booked that attended Wizard World Philadelphia featuring some of our favorite cosplay pictures from throughout this four-day convention!
