Who are the Worthy? The Road to Fear Itself Continues!

Nick Furious 02/28/2011 Reviews

Marvel have been kind enough to give Comic Booked readers another sneak peek of what they can expect when the much-anticipated Fear Itself hits in April with a lovely little Salvador Larocca image showing Captain America, Iron Man and the Grey Gargoyle rasslin’ to get a grasp on Mjolnir. Take some Fraction, throw in a little Immonen magic and a spot of McNiven pencilled covers, and you’ve got yourself a tantalising looking crossover, as Marvel asks us, Who Are The Worthy?

I for one am looking forward to this. I enjoy a series that unites a universe, or tries to divide it. I am a Marvel fan more so than any other company but DC set a higher bar with the Blackest night and although Secret Invasion and Civil War were done very well but I was already fan and easily captured.

I might not have picked up the Blackest night issues individually, however I did pick them up in trade. And for any comic book to suck in a reader is a true attribute to how good it is. The Fear Itself mini posters are akin t the billboards years ago with one word "Gump". I look forward to this series.
