Between Peanuts and Calvin and Hobbes, comic strips featuring a young kid and their pet sidekick are a dime a dozen. But regardless of the oversaturation of the premise, there are still many comics that do the concept of Animal Companion well. We’ve decided to take a look at a handful of such comics.
If you’re new to this, here’s the scoop: Each Wednesday we will showcase five indie web comics. Each will be categorized and will be judged by ART, STORY and APPEAL. This will give you an opportunity to support indie artists and the amazing work they do.
