If you’re new to this, here’s the scoop: Each Wednesday we will showcase five indie web comics. Each will be categorized and will be judged by ART, STORY and APPEAL. This will give you an opportunity to support indie artists and the amazing work they do.
This weeks comics will explore ROBOTS. Without further ado, let’s GO!:

Comic: Decrypting Rita
Story & Art: Egypt Urnash
About: Rita is a highly enhanced cyborg/AI/upload with a ton of training and an onboard system that plots out spectacularly death-defying routes for her; you are not! Don’t try any of this at home, kids.

Comic: Beeserker
Story & Art: Kyatt
About: What is Beeserker? It’s a culmination of years of creating characters with horrible premises and characters without much of a premise, joined by the common bond that the creator cannot stop drawing them for some reason. They’re also now joined by the fact that they’re in the same comic now, forced to interact with one another while surrounded by bees.

Comic: The Intrepid Girlbot
Story & Art: Diana Nock
About: ”The Intrepid Girlbot is an experimental webcomic, seeing how well I can do just taking an idea and running with it. It’s also my first comic strip format format. I came up with Girlbot in college and did a series of ink and charcoal drawings of her. The original drawings were accidentally tossed out, but I kept the idea of Girlbot in my head and finally decided that a strange, wandering story about a silent and lonely robot-that-is-also-a-girl and her companions might interest some people. Thus, a webcomic.” –Diana Nock

Comic: Robot Beach
Story & Art: Matt Forcum
About: This comic chronicles the epic adventure of lonely little robot trapped on a deserted tropical island. All that Robot has ever known is the island on which he lives. He has no idea how he got there, or how long he has been stranded, but he won’t let that get him down. He remains positive about the hand he was dealt… for the most part.
