Rain in the Rain

If you can’t enjoy a comic that has creatures like vampire-werewolf hybrids, a good-looking thief as the main character, and it’s from a series with Victoria’s Secret in the title, what can you like? Bluewater Productions releases the four-issue mini-series “Rain” this July, as a prequel to “Victoria’s Secret Service”, or VSS, which returns later this year. The series will focus on Rain’s activities before she joined VSS.

Check out the press release below:

“Bluewater Comics’ hit comic book series “Victoria’s Secret Service,” is coming back this winter with a brand new ongoing series. In July, readers can get their fill in a brand new prequel to VSS called “RAIN”.

“In this prequel spin-off to “Victoria’s Secret Service,” the super sexy thief Rain (AKA Scarlet) takes a high-paying job to steal a necklace from a museum. While breaking into the museum, Rain discovers another robbery is taking place by two supernatural beings known as the Shadow Twins who are trying to steal a skeletal corpse for their friend Henry (a werewolf-vampire hybrid known as a Vrykolakas). The two stories collide when Henry wants to get revenge against Rain for the stolen necklace and damaged skeleton. What is the importance of the skeleton? What is the story with the Shadow Twins and Henry? Will Rain be able to get a big payday? Filled with thrilling action, romance, and surprising plot twists, this epic 4 issue mini-series is a can’t miss comic book series.
“It’s packed with action, supernatural creatures, humor, and plenty of characterization,” says writer Nick Lyons.
