Venom #1 Preview

Marvel recently released a preview of Venom #1. The series, which debuts this Wednesday (March 9th), features longtime Spider-Man supporting character Flash Thompson in the title role. Best known for his work on Punisher and Uncanny X-Force, Rick Remender will be writing the series with pencils by Tony Moore, who has contributed to series ranging from Ghost Rider to The Walking Dead. This series is also noteworthy for being the first time in nearly a decade that Venom has starred in an ongoing solo title.

  1. The narration sounds too intelligent for Flash Thompson.

  2. Dick

Yeah but he's wearing Venom so it must enhance his brain too

I guess it's possible, but it hasn't traditionally worked that way. Normally, symbiotes have made crazy people exponentially crazier.

  3. Dick

That's true, but Flash wasn't crazy he was just kinda dumb… I can believe the suit brought his noggin up a notch if anything just for a baseline that wasn't semi-retard
