Valiant Offers First Four Collections for $9.99

David Vandervliet 11/27/2012 Reviews

So maybe you’ve heard me talk about Valiant Comics.

If you haven’t heard about them, Valiant is a comic publisher that returned to comic shops this past summer.  The original Valiant line began in the early 1990’s.  They became immensely popular, before poor business and editorial decisions led to a premature demise.  After years of legal wrangling, Valiant is back.

[pullquote_right]If you aren’t reading Valiant, you are missing out on some of the best comics being made.[/pullquote_right]

The Summer of 2012 was the Summer of Valiant.  Each month saw the relaunch of a series based on some of the original Valiant’s greatest original characters.  Four months, four titles, and each one met with the praise of readers, old and new. X-O Manowar came first. and was a smash hit. Then Harbinger, Bloodshot, and Archer & Armstrong all followed suit. But some of you out there may have missed out this summer. Well, you are in luck as Valiant is now making the first story arcs of all four of these titles easy to get.  Easy and cheap – 4 trades, one a month, are headed to comic shops.  And they all cost less than 10 bucks each.

That’s cheaper than buying the original issues at cover price!
