Top Ten Tuesday: Best Intercompany Crossovers

Jeff Hill 04/22/2014 Features

Why don’t the comic publishers get on the ball and go crazy with their crossovers?  Think about it: It’s easy money.  And with a constant renumbering, rebranding, relaunching, and rebooting being the new go-to for marketing gimmick nonsense, it’s not like they’re above it.  So stop with the events.  Take it easy with the deaths.  And cool the jets with all of the revivals.  It’s worked before, it’ll work again.  And again.  And again.

Here are my top ten favorite intercompany crossovers:

1. DC Versus Marvel (Marvel Versus DC)

2. Batman/Spawn

3. Amalgam

4. Batman/Punisher

5. JLA/Avengers

6. X-Men/Wildcats

7. Wildcats/Aliens

8. The Darkness/Batman

9. Archie Meets the Punisher

10. Batman/Hellboy/Starman

About The Author

Jeff Hill is a moderately reformed frat boy turned writer/teacher living the dream in Lincoln, Nebraska. He does freelance work and writes fiction, none of which is about corn or the husking of corn. His work has appeared in over a dozen publications and his mom has a binder full of printed copies for any doubters. Plus, he's the Chief Creative Officer of Comic Booked. So that's pretty neat, too.
