The first official Thor trailer just came out, and it’s slam packed with angry Gods and lot of butt kicking. Get a look in glorious HD via Yahoo! after the break.
Also the new official Thor movie poster was released yesterday which gives us a good look at actor Chris Hemsworth in full Thor armor, wielding the mighty Mjolnir.
Thor opens nationwide May 6, 2011.

This looks surprisingly good. Of all the Marvel movies being made, this one had the most potential to fail miserably, I’m glad that its actually looking pretty solid.
I have to say, as a fan of Thor I’m very unimpressed with how this movie is playing out. I can see they are going to turn it into one big joke with Thor making more wisecracks than being true to form.
I don’t plan to watch it.
But, oh how I wanted to love this movie…I tried…I really REALLY tried!
I hope it’s not a let down. I have to say, I’m looking forward to it for sure. We’ll have to see what the movie brings to the table come May. Good times!
