Marvel’s Golden Boy Mark Waid, who has been winning awards left and right for his amazing work on Daredevil, has been assigned to take on the Indestructible Hulk.  There is no one better suited to take on a man like Bruce Banner and his alter ego Monster than Waid.  Hulk grabbing Thor’s hammer?  Yeah its been done but something tells me Mark Waid doing this story won’t be your typical “Hulk Smash With Thor Hammer”.   But it makes you wonder come April will Hulk still be part of SHIELD or are those days already numbered?  Here is the official press release:

    The only sad thing about this press release is that Lienil Yu is leaving. The counterbalance, though, is that WALT FREAKING SIMONSON is taking over! Anyone else see Hulk grabbing Mjolnir and either thinking the Beta Ray Bill story from way back when, or because of the green Hulk anyone else picture the Thor turning into a frog arc (both by Simonson) coming to mind?
