While Wolverine and The X-Men is (arguably) one of the worst books you can buy, Thor has found a new sense of Wonderful and that is all thanks to the multi-talented Jason Aaron. Aaron has a found a way to make the Asgardian relevant once again. It remains to be seen if this “Birth” will be a new story arc in his current Marvel run or if Aaron has a new title debuting in April. I am gonna roll with new title, but I guess we will find out in April. Here is the official press release:
I am not really a fan of Aaron. Never forgave him for what he did to Ghost Rider.
His Thor wasn't really that impressive either (though that may be more because I really didn't like the art but having Thor answer prayers didn't seem like Aaron really had an understanding of the character)
But this teaser… Let's see… giant purple letters… Brings to mind Galactus. Worst case scenario: Jason Aaron is writing a Silver Surfer series.
The word is "Birth" Birth… not re-Birth, just Birth. For some reason I think Thanos. But it wouldn't make much sense to give a villain )who's return I still haven't had explained) his own book. At least not with this writer.
Or… maybe Purple Man is getting an upgrade or having a kid or something…
no
um, yeah, whatever you say Marvel

Now if only Marvel cared half as much about story telling as they do about marketing
Jason Aaron's Punisher Max was okay. At best. And that was the best thing he's ever done. Why do these untalented creators keep getting work? Sad.
What comes after birth?
Ahem.
