The Avengers Super Bowl Trailer

Earth’s Mightiest Heroes SMASHED the Super Bowl Audience with the power of the Hulk! Joss Whedon’s The Avengers trailer shows off just how incredibly action packed the movie will be.  The clips showcase an invasion lead by Loki, we get at least a small clip of each of The Avengers in what looks like a high action scene, driving home the idea that we will get to see each one shine in this movie. I myself was very excited at how much Iron Man was in the trailer as well as his super cool, sarcastic and funny Alter Ego Tony Stark. I still believe in heroes is something Nick Fury says in the trailer, after seeing The Avengers in action like this I think it is safe to say, we still believe in heroes, we believe in The Avengers. Loki may have an army, but they have a Hulk.

Who else is amped with the thunder of an Asgardian god for this movie?

The Avengers is sure to be a hit at the box office in May. Following up on successes like Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America, Marvel has done wonders for setting the stage for a movie starring all of their biggest hitters. Not to mention the fact that the movie hits theaters on the day before Free Comic Book Day, and it’s clear that Marvel really knows how to cross-promote. Hopefully, The Avengers will bring more comic readers into the fold and blow some much needed life into the industry. The only big hurdle they face is getting the word out to fans how additional stories starring these character can be found. With that said, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a commercial for their Digital Comics App for iPhone and Android at some point during the credits.
