Hey, all. I’ve got some important news items to share with you about the future of Fiction Friday. First and foremost, I’d like to remind you all about Comic Booked’s first annual fiction writing contest. Check out further details here and here and here. Now that you’ve refreshed yourselves, here’s big announcement number one:
We’re extending the deadline! Now you can still submit your fiction for consideration up to October 1!
And for our second important announcement:
It’s now FREE to enter! As in ZERO dollars. No payment necessary. FREE!
And for our third (albeit significantly less exciting) announcement:
We’re going on a brief hiatus. In order to focus on some All Things Writerly projects (and read your submissions, of course), we’ll be putting Fiction Friday on hold until that October 1 deadline. Then we’ll be back in full force with some more original fiction from our staff and, shortly thereafter, possibly YOUR fiction.
So what are you waiting for? Spread the word, do some writing and editing, and send us your fiction.
Any questions? Leave a comment below or ask me directly at [email protected] if you’re shy! Hope to hear from you all very soon. And by hear, I mean read. And by you, I mean your work. Ramble ramble ramble writer stuff blah blah gotta go!
* Quick note: Due to us no longer charging an entry fee, we can no longer offer the cash prizes to the winners… But what do you have to lose? It’s free now! *
