SUPERIOR Preview: Superior Spider-Man #1

Skott Jimenez 01/04/2013 Reviews

Marvel has released a preview for next week’s blockbuster release of Superior Spider-Man #1! The book is sure to be getting a lot of attention if the firestorm over last week’s Amazing Spider-Man #700 is any indicator of the trends. Personally, I LOVED ASM #700. It’s arguably my favorite single issue for all of 2012. But this isn’t a review or an editorial – this is a preview. I was already jazzed for this issue after #700 – the name now makes sense and what comes next is sure to be all kinds of exciting. So sit back and take a look at the all-new Spider-Man!

I've been collecting comic books for over 20 years, over that time I've learned a lot about the history of the industry and that fascinates me so I'm always looking for new sources of information. If it's about comic books then I'm interested.

The baby Spidey cover is adorable.

There are at least two covers I'd like to get. I love that the Stegman cover is the standard.

…am I the only one that thinks the 'sketch variants' are total rip offs? I mean, all they are is a regular cover that hasn't been colored. It isn't really a sketch.

I like to color them in :p
