Spotlight: Action Comics #10 – First Look at Variant

Action Comics 10 Variant Cover by Bryan Hitch
Action Comics #10 hits shelves on June 6th, but with the release of the exclusive first look at the variant cover by Bryan Hitch we thought we’d take a look at where the Man of Steel will be when this book flies into stores.

The issue kicks off a three-part summer Action Comics summer event featuring a new villain named Nimrod The Hunter whom is on the hunt for Superman. Nimrod has a reputation for killing every thing he has ever tracked. The official DC description mentions he’s never killed an Alien. So it really makes this writer wonder what chance he has against the ultimate alien, Superman. We look forward to finding out in June what sort of threat Nimrod will pose to the Man of Steel. For now we have these beautifully-illustrated covers to check out. Let us know what you think.

Action Comics is Written by Grant Morrison, Backup Written by Sholly Fisch, with Art by Gene Ha and Rick Bryant. Also listed as Backup Artist is Bradley Walker with cover the original cover art by Rags Morales and featured here your first look at the variant cover artist Bryan Hitch and Gene Ha colored by Paul Mounts
