So what will a battle between the Avengers and the X-Men entail? Since the event centers around the return of the Phoenix Force, with Scarlet Witch and Hope both playing pivotal roles in the battle, Comic Booked wants to know your opinion. Who deserves the honor (or curse) of being the vessel for the Phoenix? Who would win in a smack-down, drag-out battle between Scarlet Witch and Hope? Either would be great mutant vessels for the force. I'm personally hoping that Jean comes back and ends all this since it was originally reflected that she and the force were one. I really think that the Phoenix force needs someone who doesn't have a history of going mental to have control of it's power. Can you imagine how Wanda will warp reality if she has the Phoenix's power? WAY too powerful and disruptive. I think that Hope is a better fit. Hope can easily adapt to her omega level mimic abilities already. Having the Phoenix force would be a great asset. Plus, she'd whip Wanda's arse without the force anyway. Lol!
Are u nuts Wanda would destroy hope lol. The is a nexus of all power. She can open and use the power of creation lol.
Hope can mimic like 100 of other mutants past.
I say Wanda should bring back jean phoenix of the crown to save the mutant child from a destiny she cannot control.
