If you thought the Johnny Cage episode was an interesting take on the character, just wait till you see this episode. This episode was not like the previous one, but rather uncensored like episodes one and two. This episode actually mentioned “Mortal Kombat” which is a good sign that we are most certainly headed in the right direction. On the downside this episode is less than nine minutes long. It is disappointing enough to think we are only going to get nine or ten of these, but when they go from nine or ten minutes to less it kind of lets you down. If they need ideas to get at least two more minutes per show I’d be more than happy to give them some helpful insight: toss in a preview of next week’s episode. Just an idea.
Starring:
Aleks Pounovic as Shao Kahn
Samantha Tjhia as Kitana
Jolene Tran as Mileena
Johnson Phan as Shang Tsung
Although this episode was drastically different it continued to show that there are no boundaries (except maybe time constraints). From the dazzling animation sequences, to an absolutely stellar score to compliment the enchanting story of Kitana and Mileena, it did not disappoint. We were also shown Shao Kahn which was expected but not absolutely certain, Baraka, Shang Tsung, and a few other noteworthy characters. Episode four really pushed on giving insight into this world, known as Edenia, and letting us know it was taken over after ten Mortal Kombat tournaments, which is the first time the tournament has even been mentioned. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of this episode was the depth in which they showed how tragically flawed Mileena is. Keep in mind this episode is a lot bloodier than the other episodes have been, but it really toned down the language, but still earned the usual TV MA. The episode ended on a level of anticipation leaving us salivating for Kitana and Mileena part two. Thanks to Machinima for the link!

I have to say that this is good marketing for the whole Mortal Kombat franchise!
Agreed, I can’t believe Warner Bros. is taking this so seriously, but I’m digging it.
