Continuing from Infestation #1:
A Decepticon ship crashes in the middle of the Las Vegas Stip. The ship opens up and our pours a swarm of zombies and infected robots which are quickly destroyed by the returned, and still insane, Galvatron.
A great way to begin this issue. I have to admit I was very much looking forward to a DnA written Transformers story. Toss in zombies and you can the comic of my dreams.
Alright, so the story begins with a bang followed by the required fight between Autobots and Decepticons while Galvatron tries to get Optimus Prime to listen to him, not easy to do when you have the insane history of Galvatron. It seems the big G located a chunk of something and sensing the energies of the Dead Universe (a reality

Galvatron was kind of banished to some time ago) he brought onto his ship. Turns out it was a chunk of Zombies and Robots and when it ‘woke’ it attacked and their ship was damaged thencrashed on Earth.
It seems Galvatron is the first to understand what’s going on and, to an extent, is protecting humans by telling them to get out of their vehicles because “They are raw metal I can pound the enemy with!” He has to try to convince Prime and his Autobots that he isn’t the enemy this time, these zombies and robots are.
I have high hopes for the second part of this, which comes out later this month, because much of this issue was dedicated to the Autobot/Decepticon battle which kind of takes from the zombie thing but we get enough to know this Infestation can and will affect the Transformers.
We also get a new Transformer who isn’t exactly what they appear to be AND a reference to the Transformers Spotlight: Kup one shot that came out way back in 2007!
Overall this was a fun installment but I’m eager to see how these guys will actually react to the zombie infestation and how it may effect some of their fellow ‘Formers.
Next week: Infestation: Star Trek #1!
