Read Lazarus #1… for Free!

Jeff Hill 12/10/2013 Features, News

That’s right.  Comixology continues their “12 Days of Free Comics,” offering up a chance for new, old, and maybe even reluctant readers to get on board with writer Greg Rucka and artist Michael Lark.  (Yesterday’s free book was Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s Batman #13, the first part of the epic “Death of the Family” event, for those of you who missed it.)

Image Comics has been dominating the market for those who are still not completely into Marvel Comics’ various “Now” and “Point-One” related initiatives and DC Comics’ New 52 banner of books. And this book, much like many of the creator-owned projects coming out of Image in the last 20+ years, is absolutely incredible.

Plus…  You know…  It’s free.  Can’t beat that!

So after you get done doing your holiday shopping for others, go to Comixology, make an account or refresh your old one, and enjoy a free comic on them.

About The Author

Jeff Hill is a moderately reformed frat boy turned writer/teacher living the dream in Lincoln, Nebraska. He does freelance work and writes fiction, none of which is about corn or the husking of corn. His work has appeared in over a dozen publications and his mom has a binder full of printed copies for any doubters. Plus, he's the Chief Creative Officer of Comic Booked. So that's pretty neat, too.
