Peter Serafinowicz to Announce First Comic at KAPOW!

Peter Serafinowicz will be announcing his first comic book and the famous artist he’s collaborating with at KAPOW! this Sunday.


Peter S.British comedian, actor and writer Peter Serafinowicz (Spaced, Shaun of the Dead), will be heading to Kapow! on Sunday 20 May to announce his first-ever comic-book collaboration. Working with an artist famous for his work on Batman, who will be revealed on Sunday morning, this is Peter’s first foray into comic-books.


Kapow! is taking place at Business Design Centre, London on 19th & 20th May 2012, and visitors to Kapow! will be amongst the first in the world to get an exclusive sneak peek at upcoming comics, movie blockbusters and hit TV shows from the biggest publishers and studios in the world.


In addition to comic-book panels with the world’s biggest publishers Marvel, DC, Image, 2000AD and Millarworld, other film, TV and gaming events taking place include:


  • An Audience with Nick Frost
  • Q&A with Gareth Evans, British writer and director The Raid
  • Noel Clarke Q&A with exclusive footage from Storage 24
  • The creative team behind Batman: Arkham City from Rocksteady Studios
  • Directors Panel with Gareth Edwards (Monsters) and Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes)
  • Hot TV panel with Russell Tovey (Being Human) and Doctor Who writer Tom MacRae, plus Adam Garcia (House), Lucy Brown (Primeval) and comedian Tom Allen
  • Jimmy Carr interviewing Frankie Boyle live about his love of geek culture
  • Much loved TV personality and comic-book writer Jonathan Ross talking America’s Got Powers


Live interviews with huge film, TV and comic stars will be taking place all weekend at the Total Film, SFX and Comic Heroes stage plus the massive cosplay competition.
