November’s Wonder Woman creative team announced

Wonder Woman New Creative Team

According to USA Today‘s Brian Truitt, the upcoming Wonder Woman creative team change this November promises to change the tone and spirit of not only the book, but its title character as well.  Writer Brian Azzarello and (somewhat regular) artist Cliff Chiang will be ending their run with October’s issue #35.  And promptly starting with issue #36 (as opposed to a brand new number one), the husband-wife creative team of David and Meredith Finch will be taking over in the pictures and words departments respectively.  Fresh off the ending of the first mega event of the New 52, Forever Evil has certainly shaken things up.  But it has also freed up series artist David Finch.  The real question will be whether or not Wonder Woman stays monthly or continues its regular release schedule.

The new creators have expressed an interest in distancing themselves from the mythology aspect of the character’s story in the DC Universe, focusing more on her humanity.
