By this point we already know quite a bit about the premise of Bioshock Infinite, thanks to the long gameplay video that was released to announce the game quite a while back. Bioshock Infinite takes place in 1912, and is set in a flying city called Columbia, which is actually a battleship suspended in the air by blimps. This time around, look for a bunch of exciting and powerful new plasmids to boost your abilities, as well as a “sky-hook” that will allow players to navigate the Columbia’s skyrail system. While the previous games in the Bioshock series were dark and moody, set in the distressed underwater city of Rapture, Columbia is vibrant, sunny and bright—but no doubt has many dark secrets of its own. “Would you kindly” check out the Bioshock Infinite “Beast of America” trailer now? I'm a terrible gamer. I've never even played BioShock.
Played the first one but lost interest in the series after that.
Yeah, Bioshock 2 just rehashed too much of the first game. I'm hoping Bioshock Infinite will be a fresh new chapter. It looks like it innovates and brings something new to the franchise.
I played a little bit of the second game, but never really got into it.
That being said … Goodness gracious, look at that swag!!!
I loved the first two games. Not sure how this one will fair given they have taken the action out of the ocean and into the sky. I think with dishonored coming out and being amazing steam punk, this series needs to step it up to stay fresh and not seem tired.
Unfortunately the way the gaming world has been this past year, don’t always count on the release date to remain as stated. For the past few months I have been hopelessly addicted to Bioshock for Playstation 3. I honestly found the first weapon I picked up (the wrench) to be the most efficient weapon while playing the game.

This is sure to be a nice game and I will surely play it! Bioshock Infinite FTW! I like the plot of the game especially that it is not connected to the previous bioschock games. This will make gamers anticipate the game more.
