Pauley Perrette of NCIS fame has been announced as the voice of Lois Lane in the upcoming animated movie feature, Superman vs. The Elite. Her wildly popular character Abby Sciuto has launched the actress to near astronomical levels of acclaim, and now she has a chance to be a part of a franchise and a world that is very near and dear to all of our hearts- just imagine what that will do for her Q score! For those of you who are wondering, “Q-score” is a marketing formula used to determine the public’s familiarity with and the likeability of a subject. Late last year she ranked the highest of any actress on prime time television!
Perrette is no stranger to voice acting in genre work, having previously appeared as Lucy Devlin in the 1997 Blade Runner video game and as a cop in Batman Beyond. She also did a voice over as Sarah Connor for the funny short Terminator: Termination. If you want a chance to familiarize yourself with her before she steps into the iconic role of Lois Lane, CBS is about to give you a very enticing opportunity. Their upcoming episode of NCIS is a superhero themed one in which the team must infiltrate a secret society of real-life super heroes in order to find the bad guy of the week. So what do you think? Was she a good choice? Will her presence lure some fans into our comic book world? Are you now tempted to check out NCIS? Let your opinions be known in the comments section below!
The story for Superman vs. The Elite will be translated from What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice and the American Way? which was first published in Action Comics No. 775, and likely be released early this summer. The above mentioned episode of NCIS is titled Secrets and will air Tuesday, February 14.
