Zenescope Presents a new ongoing series that promises to be one of the hottest independent titles of the year. After the milestone events of Grimm Fairy Tales #50 creatures from the realm of Myst have escaped into our world. Captured by the evil Baba Yaga for her sinister plans they are about to cause major havoc on earth.
This first arc revisits the characters and story from the very first issue of Grimm Fairy Tales – Little Red Riding Hood. Brittany, our hero from issue #1 is back, working in a treatment center for adolescents. Little does she know that something from another realm has caught her scent and will stop at nothing to find and destroy her before her true purpose is revealed.
I LOVED reading this issue and will continue to pick up the continuing issues that come out.
So, Brittany now has a Masters Degree in Behavioral Science and works at this treatment center in hopes of making the patients’ lives better by having someone to talk to and work out their personal issues. This first issue introduces you to 7 of the patients and some of the employees at the treatment center and opens up case files on each of them. And as I mentioned, something from another realm has caught Brittany’s scent and is there to get her by picking off all the unsuspecting staff one by one. Wait til you see which patient and staff member cry for help first!
Friends, go get Myths & Legends Issue #1 YOU WON’T REGRET IT =)
Stay tuned for issue #2, A storm arrives that cuts off the rest of the facility from the rest of the world as patients continue to disappear. DON’T miss issue #2 of this exciting new Grimm spin-off series!
As always:
Keep your eyes where they should be…in a comic! –take care friends! Smiles, Brieanna Brock
