My Pick of the Week (Week Seventeen)

Comic Booked Guest Writer 04/23/2012 ZDONOTUSE

Ok. I am in awe; once again the New Mutants was placed to my first read rather than my last. I saved that for Wolverine & the X-Men, Avengers, and Avengers Vs. X-Men, which the last of the three has to be my pick of the week. It wasn’t as good as the first one but I am Ok with that. I consider each issue a chapter. The first chapter should grab you while the second once again begins the momentum. The side stories I read separately and I am beginning to question myself whether or not I will actually pick up a copy of Secret Avengers when it comes out or will I purchase the digital copy or pass altogether.

Wolverine And The X-Men 9 Cover by Chris BachaloOver in DC I was able to pick up Justice League #8. Once again, without spoiling it, the best page was towards the end where you find out…oh wait… that would spoil it. I have not been reading too many DC books but both Justice League and Aquaman are keeping my interest. The other three are beginning to wane after my usual six month try.

Then there is my box of CGC graded books waiting for me at my father’s. I hope to have a run down for you soon but in the mean time I have had to start rearranging my apartment and the reason for that is once again I have to reorganize my comic collection. Of course you do know this means I might need to add a few more back issue picks for my pick of the week. Also if you go back to my Polystone review, I will have you know it has finally arrived.

Thanks for Reading
