Memorable Spider-Man Team-Ups

tv-series

1. Aunt May and Franklin Richards

In 1984, all of the Marvel editors went on vacation. At the same time. This left the assistants in charge to edit the issues and what did they do in Marvel Team-Up? Galactus. But not how you think. Galactus is hungry and (as all Marvelites know) has a voracious appetite. But as is wont to happen, Galactus will take someone from a planet he approaches and make them his herald. In return, their planet is spared and they must find a way to provide him a food source. Well, his new herald here is none other than Spider-Man’s closest family member, Aunt May. No, really. This seriously happened. And how did she satisfy Galactus’ hunger? With Twinkies. Seriously. I’m not joking. I may have a twisted mind but this really happened. Look at the cover below and buy it for yourself.

Aunt May Franklin Richards

Well, those are just SOME of the memorable Spider-Man (family) team-ups that have occurred over the last 50 years. What would you say your favorites are?

  1. Wow! I didn't know half of these even existed, especially the Aunt May issue! Was that an actual story arc!?
