Nick Spencer went on further to talk about how Hawkeye and Black Widow will be on the front cover of Issue #1 coming in February. Taskmaster will be appearing in Issue #2, Hulk, Mockingbird and Iron Patriot will be coming down the line however Winter Soldier will be featured but will not be a member of the Secret Avengers. How many Helicarriers lost by now will be dealt with by issue #3. Also, we will be seeing a bit more of a proactive Nick Fury rather than a Nick Fury than what we are used to in the past decade gathering, revealing intel then disappearing into the shadows. He will be riding along with the crew, standing right by their side every step of the way.
Tom Brevoort offered a new insight about the new expected Nick Fury comparing him as the Captain America of the Secret Avengers team as the lead guy in the field. Although he will have a different approach, he is the first guy on the ground leading the charge. Nick Fury has also had his own particular history with Iron Man; however, the Avenger’s themselves have no idea about the Secret Avenger’s. Everyone outside of S.H.I.E.L.D. knows not of this initiative taking place. The Nick Fury in this series will turn out to be Nick Fury’s son who was originally known as Marcus Johnson, who is featured in Battle Scars.
Secret Avengers by Nick Spencer and Luke Ross kicks off this February.

I really want to care about Marvel again, but with the fact that everyone is either an Avenger or an X-Man (or both) and no one really seems to be heroic anymore, it's sort of hard to even pick any of these up. I just don't even know where to start. Until Marvel fixes their lack of listening to fans (and retailers, for that matter), Make Mine DC.
"hail-maries'" huh? Interesting.
