LSCC: Top Cow Exclusives

Comic Booked Guest Writer 01/29/2013 Reviews

The London Super Comic Convention is only four weeks away now and it is already shaping up to be the year’s biggest and best UK convention. It seems that each week the buzz builds and more big names are on the guest list. With the news that Top Cow is attending, I thought it time to dig a little deeper and find out what we can expect from them in the way of exclusives.

I managed to get a few words from Matt Hawkins at Top Cow to narrow down a few details.

  • What are you hoping to see at the convention?

I do a lot of conventions every year. I’ve never done this one and the promoter John was cool enough to work out a great deal for us to come over. My main goal is to promote the books and meet the people who read them!

  • Are you doing portfolio reviews for aspiring artists and writers?

I will be doing portfolio reviews and will be talking to anyone who entered the Talent Hunt that we’re now doing annually. I’m happy to talk to writers and any artists. We don’t publish a ton of books so there’s not going to be much opportunity, but you ever know!

  • Who is attending for Top Cow?

It’s going to be the Darkness writer David Hine, Artifacts and Witchblade writer Ron Marz and myself, writer of Think Tank and the upcoming Aphrodite IX series!

London Super Con Mini Litho

  • What exclusives will you have for attendees of the con?

We will have two exclusive lithos for the show so far. London Super Con signed mini litho will be handed out for free to the first 200 people who attend the Top Cow panel. The Think Tank litho is limited to 25 and will be available at the booth, so better get in there quick. Top Cow will also have a panel on Saturday from 4pm-5pm.

You can visit the Top Cow website here for more information and to see a selection of their great titles. You can purchase your tickets to the London Super Comic Con by clicking on the banner below.

Alas, I live so far away in Glasgow :'( sadness. Wish I could go meet my Top Cow heroes.

I live even farther. I do not think my teleporter from Va Beach to London is currently working. Have to miss this one this year, too bad.

Sounds like it'll be a pretty cool event! Too bad we don't all have teleporters. :(
