Over the last decade the video game industry became even more creative by turning your favorite movie titles into video games. More recently, we have seen those characters turned into LEGO-style figurines and sent on wild adventures. Such creativity has even spanned to the comic book world with titles like “EGO Batman – The Video Game to LEGO Batman 2: DC Super-Heroes. Now the Games Production Division of Marvel Entertainment is set to release a new title in the fall of 2013.

One of the many perks that this game has to offer is the ability to unlock over 100 playable characters from the Marvel Universe. With the timing of the video games release in the fall, we will also see the comic book movie Thor: The Dark World. With the movie launch around the same time and Thor being a character within the game, this could potentially be a huge sales driver given the fact that the main character is from the same universe.
