Released by Bandai Tamashii Nations, the Daizyujin, or Megazord as it’s known in America, is part of their Super Robot Chogokin line. Standing at 140mm, or around 5.5 inches high, the Megazord will feature a number of accessories including the mighty Power sword, shield, and even special effect parts. From the pictures being shown, it looks to be highly articulated, allowing for a much wider range of motion than the previous figures released in the States.
The figure will be priced at 5,040 yen, or right around $65, and be in stores September of this year. It doesn’t look like the company has plans to release the figure in the States, but it’s almost guaranteed that it will be available on eBay at some point for a ridiculously inflated price. I’m still torn on whether the figure is worth the high price considering it doesn’t have any transformation action. Then again, the amount of detail and articulation keep pushing me over to the “WANT” side of things. In all honesty, I may just wait to see how much I will have to shell out to get it before I make a decision.
Of course I could always plan a trip out to Japan to pick one up AND visit the Power Ranger-themed bar in Tachikawa, Tokyo…

This just went up for pre order on bigbadtoystore.com for 60 bucks. Shipping will probably be another 10 so I would say the price there is reasonable!
you can pre-order it on amazon, set to be released in Oct.
