IDW Publishing
If you’re like me, you look at IDW and see such classic and memorable franchises as Transformers, G.I. Joe, Star Trek and Doctor Who. If you’re a child of the 80s (as I am), then those first 2 hold a spot near and dear in your heart as memories of rushing home from school to see how badly Starscream can mess up this week or find out that the elite military force of G.I. Joe couldn’t hit the side of the barn with their weapons if they tried. But what about this children of the 90s and later who had a completely different cartoon experience and were the recipients of some of animation’s most fun and original cartoons in years? Well, IDW has an answer for them as they partner up with Cartoon Network to bring a whole bunch of classics to us in print form!

Well that's good news. This company definitely deserves more positive exposure. They're pretty consistently putting out a quality product, so I'm always willing to support them… This just might be a way for them to get those new readers and fans on their own.

The only thing is if these books are being aimed at a younger audience then they should be cheaper. I never understood why any publisher puts these sort of titles on the paper they regularly use and expect parents to spend $3-4 a month for a kids comic book. They should be on regular paper, like comic books used to be, and have a cheaper price tag. Like $1.99 or even $2.50. $2.99 is pushing it but should be the cap on it.
That said, Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, and Dexter are three that I'm definitely getting the first issues for!
