Comic Con Helicarrier
Hasbro has announced another awesome Comic Con exclusive – a limited edition S.H.E.I.L.D Super Helicarrier that’s bigger than your average eight year old.  At over 4 feet long, there’s a lot of highly-detailed plastic real estate available for your action figure enjoyment.

With special edition figures of Captain America and S.H.E.I.L.D Agent Maria Hill, additional weaponry and an entire extra foot of awesomeness not available in the NY Toy Fair-released version, this might just be the most awesome SDCC exclusive yet announced – if not the biggest.  Special packaging artwork by Joe Quesada means that you’re going to want to be careful toting this behemoth around to preserve a minty fresh box for later display.

Comic Con HelicarrierI freely admit that I’m a big fan of slightly gigantic collectibles – I bought a spare bookcase to house my Angel puppet collection and built a shelf just for my gigantic TARDIS playsets – so this would fit right in with my collection (or, more precisely, “would fit right in after careful negotiation of space and perhaps another trip to Ikea”).  There’s just something a bit impressive about something on this scope – not to mention the fact that it makes a fantastic platform for action figure display.  All reasons to go ahead and grab this while you can – worry about lugging it around the Con floor (or through the airport) later.

The Super Helicarrier will be available at the Hasbro booth (#3329) for $129.99 and while supplies last, which will undoubtedly be a brief time.
