Microsoft is celebrating a good week in the game world after their release of the next branch of one of its biggest games of all time. Yes, the long-awaited release of Halo 4 has finally come out, and its launch day sales topped $200 million easily. The popular game franchise Halo released its newest adventure only a week ago, but already it’s become one of the most popular video games in the world. Previous Halo sales records have been high, and the newest release was expected to be a major hit with new and old fans alike. But its sales have already smashed the previous records, earning a grand total of $300 million in its first week out.

Halo 4The game has been released just in time for early Christmas shoppers to check it from their lists, and fans have been snatching it up like crazy. Screenshots of the exciting video game are readily available online, and Halo 4 has easily been titled the biggest game release of 2012, both in the United States and around the world.
