If you would like to give digital comics to a Veteran in your life there are many ways to do so. You can order a subscription directly from
Marvel,
DC, or from a multi publishing house distributor like
comiXology.

Giving comics to troops currently serving is also an option offered by Bridge City Comics of Portland, OR through their program: Comics for the Troops.

“Each box of comics going overseas will have a letter included with it. It will express how much we appreciate the soldiers’ service and that we hope they make it home to Oregon safely when their tour is over. I’m also going to thank all of the people who have donated comics to this cause and, if you “Adopt-A-Box”, I’ll also include your name as the person who made sending the box possible!”
Thank you to all of our Vets and our troops who are currently serving. While no gesture of gratitude can ever equal the sacrifices our troops make this is a great opportunity to share some of the comforts of home with those who are farthest from home. Thank you for all you do.
This is awesome! Just posted it to all the service facebook pages. Good times!
Thanks for sharing. A great way to give back to those who have served. Going to send this to the rest of the ship. Need something to read out here.
Thank You Vets! Please continue to share!!! Free until Jan 6th, spread the word.
For us non vets, 30% off until 12/31/10
