First Look: Uncanny Avengers #3

Nick Furious 12/29/2012 Reviews 3 Comments

The Red Skull has Professor Xavier’s brain!  No, this isn’t some cheesy sci-fi flick from the sixties, this is Uncanny Avengers! Captain America’s arch-nemesis is back with a vengeance and this time looks to be focusing on killing mutants! After all the news about what we have in store for us as far as storylines and villains go I’m very interested to see how Kang the Conquerer and Apocalypse all fall into the mix with the devious Red Skull. If you haven’t read Uncanny Avengers, it is a brand new series that is only two issues deep thus far. It should be on everyone’s pull list as far as I’m concerned.  Here is the official press release:

Just once, i want Red Skull to say, "I HAVE THE POWER" and then BAM, he turns into He-Man

Does every villain have to steal a hero's brain now?

The art is the only thing that makes this book not a complete waste of time and money. Hopefully they can keep John Cassaday for as long as it takes to get a better writer on board.
