The new MCU release “Thor:The Dark World” hits theaters in November and the villain is Malekith, and then we have Thor:God of Thunder which comes out mid October and it also has a new story arc involving Malekith and Dark Elves? What are the chances of something like that happening!? All joking aside this is a traditional move by Marvel who attempts to shove free advertising for said movie villain into any story arc RIGHT BEFORE the movie is released. Sometimes it is a great story arc, other times it falls flat due to it being an obvious marketing ploy rather than something the writer REALLY wanted to add to the story and/or meticulous plotting method. I can’t honestly say I am an avid reader of Thor:God of Thunder but from what I have read I am very impressed, not the greatest Thor anyone has ever written but it most certainly doesn’t disappoint, but to be honest most Marvel Now! Titles haven’ really disappointed lately. Here is the official press release:
