After what has been a tough read for the first few issues it appears as if Avengers is finally finding what it wants to be. I knew with Jonathan Hickman at the helm this would end well and it was a shaky start but it is looking to be a stellar ending. And adding Deodato to the mix? I am all for that. While we are giving artists props lets give Dustin Weaver a big round of applause because that cover is badass! Why is adaption a scary word? I’m assuming it has something to do with Connors but it wouldn’t be the first time I was wrong. Guess we won’t find out til Avengers #10. Here is the official press release:
Marvel NOW! First Look – AVENGERS #10!
Marvel is pleased to present your first look at Avengers #10 as superstar artist Mike Deodato joins blockbuster writer Jonathan Hickman! When the Avengers learn that the Canadian super team, Omega Flight, have found themselves in the middle of a Garden Origin site – the Avengers must spring into action for a rescue mission like no other. But do Earth’s Mightiest know enough about the Garden to push back their growth over the Great White North?
Each issue of Avengers includes a code for a free digital copy on the Marvel Comics app (for iPhone®, iPad®, iPod Touch® & Android devices). Additionally, each issue of Avengers features special augmented reality content available exclusive through the Marvel AR app – including cover recaps, behind the scenes features and more that add value to your reading experience at no additional cost.
This April, Hickman and Deodato show readers why “adaptation” is the scariest word in the Marvel Universe – only inAvengers #10!
