Before writing for Comic Booked, I had to scour the web to find quality, new, unheard of indie Comics. Now I’m fortunate enough to just check my inbox. Today I had the pleasure of reading the first nine pages of what proves to be a very interesting comic: ELDRITCH!
If you’ve read my previous posts you know I am a huge fan of good story and art. Upon reading the preview I’m confident this comic has both. You know you’re in for a treat when both creators (Aaron Alexovich and Drew Rausch) have worked on projects such as Cthulhu Tales, Fables, Sullengrey, Invader Zim, Avatar: The Last Airbender and much more.
THE STORY
ANYA SOBCZEK is a snarling science major with an arm full of Darwin tattoos. Her brother OWEN is a sensitive young thing in a coven of teenage occultists. The Sobczek sibs have always been brutally competitive, but now that Owen’s blood has started BUBBLING with ancient tentacled abominations, their rivalry’s about to enter a vast new dimension of cosmic terror…
