Where most publishers have been approaching the digital comics realm in various ways, DC has managed to find a way to create original content and streamline it out to its fans. But how did they ensure that the content would be found? Simple – they used Batman. And after this summer, which DC hero is bigger than the Bat? With stories already out there from creators such as Jeff Lemire (Animal Man, Sweet Tooth), Steve Niles (30 Days of Night), and Phil Hester (Green Arrow, Nightwing), this next round of creators on Legends of the Dark Knight is sure to excite!

Can’t get enough of popular digital-first series LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT? We’ve got good news for you – a whole new line-up of creators and one-shot Batman stories is coming your way starting with today’s release of today’s “Carved” written by Paul Tobin with artwork by Tradd Moore.

Now, I personally do not own an iPad, but I love the idea of digitally-focused comics at this price. The stories are being delivered quicker, but still maintain their quality!
