Comikaze Expo is coming!

That’s right, Los Angeles is about to get hit with its first major comic convention in years, and it’s shaping up to be a great time! I know I’ve been anticipating this one since I first heard about it months ago, and I’m glad that the Los Angeles Convention Center will be host to comic book fanatics once again. Why? Where do I start? Stan “The Man” Lee! Elvira, Mistress of the Dark in her final convention appearance! The biggest gathering of Star Trek actors outside of a dedicated Trek convention! Nickelodeon’s All That Reunion! Cracked’s After Hours live! Team Unicorn! Comediva! Horror! Steampunk! And more creators than you can shake a lightsaber at!

The Comikaze Expo website recently released the floor plan and exhibitor list for the convention, located in Kentia Hall beneath the South Exhibit Hall. There is a lot of local talent on the roster, as well as a presence from the bigger names. You can also see on the map that gaming has a sizable arena at the convention as well, from miniatures to card games, even video games. If you’re on the fence about whether or not to attend, give them a look and see if there’s something that speaks to you as a fan. With hundreds of exhibitors scheduled for attendance, I’m sure you’ll find something that’ll draw you in to this event!

Comikaze Expo logoComikaze takes place November 5-6 at the L.A. Convention Center. Tickets are available now at $12 for a day or $20 for the whole weekend, or you can try your hand at winning free tickets through the contests hosted here and here. And if you see me strolling by on the convention floor (minus the plastic arm between my lips in the pic below), don’t be afraid to walk up, say hi and talk geek with me!

I’ll see YOU at Comikaze Expo!
