As we previously reported here on ComicBooked.com, March 14th is “C-Day.” The promised day is finally upon us, and Avatar Press has officially gone “all-in” for C-Day, which will see: Crossed events taking place at local comic shops throughout the land, the first arc of the new comic minseries Crossed: Badlands (available in 3 different covers) from series co-creators Garth Ennis and Jacen Burrows, the collected Crossed Volume 3: Psychopath hitting stores shelves, the debut of a Crossed: Get Infected sampler, and the launch of the free Crossed: Wish You Were Here webcomic from Si Spurrier and Javier Barreno. That is a heaping helping of debauched Crossed goodness, all happening on one day gorily glorious day! This is the stuff I live for.

Crossed Wish You Were Here

March 14th will also be the long awaited debut of the free Crossed: Wish You Were Here webcomic from Si Spurrier and Javier Barreno. Originally planned for last fall, the webcomic was delayed but not forgotten, and will finally be unleashed on the world on C-Day. Be sure to visit the Avatar Press website for an interview with Si Spurrier about Crossed: Wish You Were Here, then check out the webcomic debut that is now live at http://www.crossedcomic.com/webcomic/volume-1-chapter-1/

This is an exciting time for Crossed fans, and one of the biggest roll-outs in memory for the always awesome publisher, Avatar Press. Be sure to pick up some of their comics and show them some support! There is a good reason that some of the most talented people in the comics industry publish their work through Avatar Press. Also, be sure to stop by the Avatar Press booth this weekend at WonderCon to meet World War Z author Max Brooks, and to pick up some sweet exclusives. Check back in here at ComicBooked.com for future Crossed and Avatar Press news and reviews, as well as Avatar Press coverage from the Emerald City Comicon at the end of the month. I hope you survive C-Day relatively unscathed, and with some great reading material. See you at the LCS!
