Before Watchmen- Silk Spectre #1 Variant Cover

Yenny Coll 05/15/2012 Features, Reviews

DC’s announcement of a prequel series to Alan Moore’s Watchmen was met with mixed review; some of us excited at the prospect, others outraged, some conflicted with curiosity but dubious to the series’ legitimacy due to Alan Moore and artist Dave Gibbon‘s non-involvement in the project. In less than a month, Silk Spectre #1 will hit stores and we’ve been given a sneek peek at the variant cover artwork.

Amanda Connor

Jim Lee, I love you, but I gotta go with Amanda Connor’s cover art (see the snow globe?). Silk Spectre #1 will be available on June 13th, written by Darwyn Cook and writer/ artist Amanda Connor.  Look for Silk Spectre #2, available July 18th.

“Oh sweetie, you’re too young to hate. Wait until you’re older and the world gives you a good reason. Trust me, it won’t let you down.”
