• A new Secret Society is forming-—but which of its members has the power to attack the Justice League from within?
This issue is also offered as a combo pack edition with a redemption code for a digital download of this issue.

Picking this up as I’m interested to see how this new team meshes. I’ll for sure pick it up for the first story arc, but beyond that it will depend on how solid the writing is. I’ve liked Johns on the main JL title as well as Aquaman and Green Lantern, but I’m wondering if another book every month plus his duties at DC may be too much and quality will begin to suffer. I am skeptical, though, since Vibe is in this and, from what I’ve read, it’s not the same alter-ego playing Vibe unlike pretty much everyone else in the New 52. That doesn’t sit well with me really… -Kelly Cassidy

It’s Justice League. It’s the mainstay of hero teams for DC. And I’ve been enjoying it so far… I just hope they drop the Shazam second story soon and fill the book with just JL. -Kelly Cassidy

And the final Justice League title:

GREEN ARROW #19Green Arrow

1:25 MAD Variant cover by The Usual Gang of Idiots
On sale APRIL 3 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
Retailers: This issue will ship with two covers. Please see the order form for more information.
• What startling secret is revealed on the island that gave Green Arrow birth?

I’m looking forward to Lemire taking over this title. With the promise of more mystery and noir-style stories which suit the character. I’m still skeptical about having him so close to the Green Arrow in the TV series right now and not classic Ollie, who was one of Hal’s best friends and that was retconned in the New 52… But if we can have GA doing more mystery style books, I think that’s gonna go a long way for the character. -Kelly Cassidy

AQUAMAN #19Aquaman
Written by GEOFF JOHNS
Art and fold-out cover by PAUL PELLETIER and SEAN PARSONS
1:25 MAD Variant cover by The Usual Gang of Idiots
On sale APRIL 24 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
Retailers: This issue will ship with two covers. Please see the Order Form for details.
• The Ice King takes the throne as the true king of Atlantis—but who will be the first to kneel before him?

Surprisingly one of my fav DC books. It took a character who everyone laughed at and made him interesting. I wouldn’t go so far as to say cool, but he’s interesting. Not the Aquaman we say in Smallville and not the guy whose hand got eaten off and replaced with a hook, but I like the certain mysticism that underlies the story which is giving him a unique appeal. -Kelly Cassidy

THE FURY OF FIRESTORM: THE NUCLEAR MAN #19Fury of Firestorm
Written by DAN JURGENS
Art and fold-out cover by DAN JURGENS and RAY McCARTHY
On sale APRIL 24 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
• What’s more deadly to fire than a Killer Frost?

Killer Frost returns? One of Firestorm’s signature villains is here which means it’s gonna be fun. I’ve loved what Jurgens has done the last few issues and am looking forward to this. It has been removed from my list of “might drop it” books. -Kelly Cassidy

EARTH 2 #11EARTH2_Cv11
Written by JAMES ROBINSON
Art by NICOLA SCOTT and TREVOR SCOTT
Cover by BRETT BOOTH and NORM RAPMUND
1:25 B&W Variant cover by BRETT BOOTH and NORM RAPMUND
On sale APRIL 3 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
Retailers: This issue will ship with two covers. The variant cover will feature the fold-out cover in a wraparound format.
• As Dr Fate emerges as the latest hero on Earth 2, what other heroes make a most unexpected appearance?

Dr Fate. The JSA equivalent team. And James Robinson writing. He’s done the JSA justice before (pun not intended but recognized) and I have a feeling he will keep this book going strong. -Kelly Cassidy

I need this issue, I need this issue right now! Dr Fate has always been a favourite of mine, it’s about time he got shown some love – Simon Peter Curran

SUPERBOY #19Superboy
Written by TOM DeFALCO
Art by R.B. SILVA and ROB LEAN
Fold-out cover by ARDIAN SYAF
On sale APRIL 10 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
• Superboy discovers he is more than a clone—but what is the shocking secret behind his origin and birth?

I’m liking the slight deviation from the old Superboy stories to this one. It’s nice to see something similar but different, but without completely distorting everything we know and love about a character. The H’el on Earth story I enjoyed, especially him finally going face to face with the Super-family and teaming up with Batman and Wonder Woman, so I’m keeping this title going. -Kelly Cassidy

SUPERGIRL #19Supergirl
Written by MIKE JOHNSON
Art and fold-out cover by MAHMUD ASRAR
1:25 MAD Variant cover by The Usual Gang of Idiots
On sale APRIL 17 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
Retailers: This issue will ship with two covers. Please see the order form for more information.
• In a battle of equals, which girl will reign supreme?

I was close to dropping this one as the main story arc was dragging, but H’el on Earth moved things along. I’m hopeful it keeps moving along smoothly but only time will tell. It had to move forward with H’el on Earth but now… We’ll see. -Kelly Cassidy

GREEN LANTERN #19Green Lantern
Written by GEOFF JOHNS
Art by DOUG MAHNKE and CHRISTIAN ALAMY
Fold-out cover by GARY FRANK

On sale APRIL 3 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T

Retailers: This issue will ship with three covers. Please see the order form for more information.
• Which one hero has the power to bring down all the Lantern Corps?
This issue is also offered as a combo pack edition with a redemption code for a digital download of this issue.

I’m a huge GL fan. I’m picking this up to see what happens after Rise of the Third Army. I’m also still waiting for a clearer explanation of what did and didn’t take place after Flashpoint in this new universe as many of the items are leaving me majorly confused. -Kelly Cassidy

GREEN LANTERN CORPS #19Green LAntern Corps
Written by PETER J. TOMASI
Art by FERNANDO PASARIN and SCOTT HANNA
Fold-out cover by ANDY KUBERT and SANDRA HOPE
1:25 B&W Variant cover by ANDY KUBERT and SANDRA HOPE
On sale APRIL 10 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T

• One of biggest Green Lanterns rises from the dead? Will he help save the corps, or ruin it?
This issue is also offered as a combo pack edition with a redemption code for a digital download of this issue.

My favorite of all the GL books. It’s well written, it doesn’t drag, and there’s action from 10 different directions usually. This is the one GL book I look forward to every month, and that says a lot since I loved Kyle Rayner pre-New 52. -Kelly Cassidy

GREEN LANTERN: NEW GUARDIANS #19Green Lantern New Guardians
Written by TONY BEDARD
Art and fold-out cover by AARON KUDER
1:25 B&W Variant cover by AARON KUDER
On sale APRIL 17 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
Retailers: This issue will ship with two covers. The variant cover will feature the fold-out cover in a wraparound format.
• If that’s Kyle, then who is the new White Lantern?

I love Kyle as a character. But I’ve almost had it with this book. It’s been a learning curve for Kyle with his new powers but that’s getting old. And his team up with Carol Ferris? Yeah, no. If you were gonna put any Star Sapphire in this it should have been Fatale. I love the GL family but I’m close to dropping it… -Kelly Cassidy

RED LANTERNS #19Red Lanterns
Written by PETER MILLIGAN
Art and fold-out cover by MIGUEL SEPULVEDA
1:25 B&W Variant cover by MIGUEL SEPULVEDA
On sale APRIL 24 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T+
Retailers: This issue will ship with two covers. The variant cover will feature the fold-out cover in a wraparound format.
• All the rage of the Red Lantern Corps is focused on one target. Care to guess who it is?

Needs to pick up or done. It picked up with Rise of the Third Army and was one of my favorite issues of that arc, but with that winding down it needs to hold its own. I hope it does… -Kelly Cassidy

DEMON KNIGHTS #19Demon Knights
Written by ROBERT VENDITTI
Art and fold-out cover by BERNARD CHANG
On sale APRIL 10 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
• What undead menaces threaten the lives of the Demon Knights?

Although sad to see Paul Cornell leaving, Robert Venditti did a great job with the first issue he did. He didn’t continue from where Cornell left off but moved forward 40 years and that was a nice piece of freshness, and in this title you can do it. Definitely keeping this one going. -Kelly Cassidy

THRESHOLD #4Threshold
Written by KEITH GIFFEN
Art by TOM RANEY
Backup story art by SCOTT KOLINS
Fold-out cover by HOWARD PORTER
On sale APRIL 10 • 40 pg, FC, $3.99 US • RATED T
• What it the only cosmic entity strong enough to trap The Hunted in the city they’re hiding?

I liked the first issue more than I thought, but it’s Giffen writing and it’s Raney on the art in the main story. The Hunted seems interesting, but only for a short time… it needs to expand, and Giffen is good for that. This arc is most definitely just setting the stage for the cosmic DCU, where I expect the New Gods will eventually reside as well as the return of characters like Lobo to the DCU. -Kelly Cassidy

HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE #1He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Written by KEITH GIFFEN
Art by POP MHAN
Cover by ED BENES
1:25 Variant cover by TERRY DODSON and RACHEL DODSON
On sale APRIL 17 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US
Retailers: This issue will ship with two covers. Please see the Order Form for details.
• First exciting issue of the new, ongoing adventures of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe!
• While the Masters of the Universe mourn the loss of a fallen friend, Hordak infiltrates Eternia!
• Featuring the return of She-Ra! Now known as Despara, the most lethal weapon in Hordak’s army, she returns to Eternia as He-Man’s newest enemy!

I loved the current miniseries and with the same creative team staying on board I’m picking it up. It’s already on my pull list and with this series they’re adding his sister into the mix… -Kelly Cassidy

I need to get the current mini series in trade and the Skeletor story as well. This series I may be just because it’s He-Man and it’s written by Keith Giffen! I’m not really a fan of the new DC logo (and since I don’t collect anything with the logo on it I’m really not used to it) but I’ll at least suck it up to check out this issue. Seriously, at $2.99 how could I not? And, dude: HORDAK!!! -Skott Jimenez

FAIREST #14Fairest

Cover by ADAM HUGHES
On sale APRIL 3 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • MATURE READERS
Dating is hard for everyone in this standalone tale—but it’s especially tricky if you’re a gorgeous tree nymph from Fabletown. Princess Alder tells her tales of woe to Reynard the fox in a special issue written by FABLES writer/creator Bill Willingham and featuring the art of superstar Barry Kitson (The Amazing Spider-Man).

The Fables spin-off series continues and continues strong! After the current Rapunzel story ends (and what a story it is, I really hope they bring Lauren Beukes back to write another Rapunzel story!) we get a single issue story featuring a character that really hasn’t been explored and I’m looking forward to it, especially since this is written by Willingham himself and, seriously, ANOTHER completely gorgeous cover! -Skott Jimenez

FABLES #128Fables

Art by MARK BUCKINGHAM
Cover by JOAO RUAS
On sale APRIL 17 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • MATURE READERS
Bigby howls back to Castle Dark for a showdown with Prince Brandish for the hand of his/their wife, Snow White. Will anyone walk away alive?

My longest running series continues and I’m getting a feeling the ending of this story Snow White is not going to be a happy one. From things I’ve read from Willingham himself it’s looking like Bigby may not survive this one. I hope it isn’t true because losing characters in this book is always heart breaking. I’m still recovering from losing Jack! -Skott Jimenez

SAUCER COUNTRY #14Saucer Country
Written by PAUL CORNELL
Art and cover by RYAN KELLY
On sale APRIL 10 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • MATURE READERS • FINAL ISSUE
Arcadia finally learns the “truth” about the alien invasion—but what she chooses to do with that information will change the world forever! Don’t miss the FINAL ISSUE of this mind-bending series!

It’s the final issue of a series I’ve been loving. Part of that is (I am guessing) due to Cornell moving to Marvel but… oh well. I’ll miss this title which was a lot of fun, especially if you’re a conspiracy theorist. -Kelly Cassidy

Demon Knights has been surprisingly interesting, and I'm definitely down for more Fate.
